Travel Information 

 By Car

From Cologne/Oberhausen (A3)
Exit Rösrath/Lohmar Nord (30a), turn right towards Lohmar, after 4.5 km turn left at the traffic light intersection onto the B484 towards Overath. Schloss Auel is located about 6 km ahead on the left-hand side.

From Frankfurt/Bonn (A3)
Exit Lohmar Nord (30b), continue straight towards Overath on the B484. After approximately 6 km, Schloss Auel is on the left-hand side.

From Olpe/Cologne (A4)
Exit Overath (22) from the A4, follow the B55 towards Overath. In Overath, turn left at the traffic light intersection onto the B484 towards Siegburg/Lohmar. After about 5 km, Schloss Auel is on the right-hand side.

By Train

From Cologne Central Station, take the regional train towards Overath/Gummersbach and get off at Honrath station. From there, take a taxi (approximately 2 km) along the B484 towards Lohmar/Wahlscheid. Schloss Auel is on the right-hand side. A taxi can be ordered from the train (Kirschbaum Taxi Service, Tel. 02206 / 5567). The ICE train station Bonn/Siegburg is 12 km away.

By Plane

Cologne/Bonn Airport is 19 km from Schloss Auel.

You can also fly to Frankfurt or Düsseldorf, and take a train or car from there.
